About the Hall


This Memorial Hall was built in 1931 and dedicated in January 1932. The dining hall and dance floor were expanded after World War II. To meet the condition that the bar be an appropriate distance from the Lincoln Way Elementary School, now the Auburn City Hall, the bar was placed at the far end of the building. (The Bar is only available through the American Legion Post 84.) Portions of the Hall may be reserved on a space-available basis. Details are below.

  • 33 parking spaces, four of which are handicapped

Fees & Use

No Hourly Rates Available
Daily Use Rates (one full day is 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.)
If food/drinks will be present at your event, a Kitchen reservation is required 

  • Downstairs Hall: $150
  • Downstairs Hall & Kitchen: $200
  • Fireside Room: $50
  • Main Upstairs Hall: $250
  • Refundable security and cleaning deposit: Double the total use fee amount

  • 225 - Fire Marshall (Downstairs Hall)
  • 150 - Banquet Style Seating (Downstairs Hall)
  • 250 - Fire Marshall (Main Upstairs Hall)
  • 175 - Banquet Style Seating (Main Upstairs Hall)
  • 20 - Meeting Style Seating (Fireside Room)

Reservation Information

  • Facility viewing appointments are scheduled 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding county holidays). Plan in advance as appointments are based on Hall and staff availability.
  • Check the below calendar for availability.
  • Read the above documents for important policy information.
  • Submit the Memorial Hall Questionnaire (PDF) and any questions via email to the Hall Coordinator for an application packet and two-week hold on the calendar.  (Hard copies may be mailed to Facilities Management, 11476 C Avenue, Auburn, CA 95603).
