- Pine Needle and Leaf Program
If you live in Placer County, reduce air pollution by using a free leaves and pine needles disposal program sponsored by the Placer County Department of Public Works - Environmental Engineering Division, the Placer County Air Pollution Control District, and Auburn Placer Disposal Service.
Don't burn your fall leaves and pine needles - take them to the Meadow Vista Transfer Station and dispose of them in the designated leaf/pine needle box at 2950 Combie Road, Meadow Vista, CA 95722.
All material will be taken to the Placer County Material Recovery Center to be composted. Placer County residents/property owners only; proof may be required.
This program runs from Friday, October 20, 2023 to Monday, March 11, 2024. Transfer Station hours are Friday through Monday, 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Closed for lunch 11:30 AM to 12PM.
