CAL FIRE Forest Health Grants

Funds landscape-scale land management projects that restore forest health and disaster resilience to California's forests.

CAL FIRE Wildfire Prevention Grant Program

Funds wildfire prevention projects and activities that increase the protection of people, structures, and communities. Funded activities include Hazardous Fuels Reduction, Wildfire Prevention Planning, and Wildfire Prevention Education.

California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency (CalSHAPE) Ventilation Program

Provides funding to local educational agencies for the reasonable costs of HVAC assessment, general maintenance and adjustment, filter replacement, and carbon dioxide monitor installation including certain repairs, replacements, or other improvements to HVAC systems.

Energy Improvements at Public K-12 School Facilities: Renew America's Schools

Funds projects that reduce energy costs, increase energy efficiency, and lead to improvements in teacher and student health. Projects funded under this program include energy efficiency measures, installation of renewable energy technologies, alternative fueled vehicle infrastructure on school grounds, and purchase or lease of alternative fueled vehicles to be used by a school.

Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks Grant (RUST)

Rust grants are available for small business owners of underground storage tanks to finance up to 100% of the costs necessary to upgrade, replace, or remove USTs to comply with Health and Safety Code requirements.
