Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Grant Program

Supports facilities that purchase and process byproducts of ecosystem-restoration projects, including sawmills or other wood-processing facilities in close proximity to federal or Indian lands that need ecosystem restoration and will generate byproducts.

Wood Innovations Grant Program

Stimulates, expands, and supports U.S. wood product markets and wood-energy markets to support the long-term management of National Forest System and other forest lands through a focus on mass timber, renewable wood energy, and technological development.

CAL FIRE Wildfire Prevention Grants

Funds for projects in and near fire threatened communities to improve public health and safety while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

CAL FIRE Forest Health Grant Program

Funds landscape-scale land management projects that restore forest health and disaster resilience, protect upper watersheds, and promote long term storage of carbon in forest trees and soils through reforestation and reduction of forest overcrowding and pests.

Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Grant Program

Mitigates risk from wildland fire within the WUI through hazard fuel reduction, information and education, assessment and planning, and monitoring through community and landowner action.

Community Facilities Program Disaster Repair Grants 

Helps plan for the restoration of essential community facilities that were damaged by wildfires and winter storm flooding in 2022.

Forest Conservation Program

Supports planning, acquisition, and restoration projects throughout California's forests.

Replacing, Removing, or Upgrading Underground Storage Tanks Grant (RUST)

Rust grants are available for small business owners of underground storage tanks to finance up to 100% of the costs necessary to upgrade, replace, or remove USTs to comply with Health and Safety Code requirements.
