Get Ready 2022 Trail Travelers!
Heritage Trail is back, and better than ever!
On behalf of the 27 participating museums, we invite you to travel the trail with us this summer! 27 museums from Roseville to Tahoe will be showcasing their history in a fun and entertaining way. This year, just as in years past, geographic clusters of museums will have their Heritage Trail event on certain Saturdays throughout the summer. This way, you have the whole summer to visit museums throughout Placer County.
For all our students who missed out on Living History, we would like to invite you to the Bernhard Museum for a special two-day Heritage Trail event on June 18th and 19th, 10am-4pm. You'll have the chance to participate in living history stations and more! We are looking for short-term adult volunteers on this weekend. If you're interested in helping out for an hour or two, please contact the Curator of Education at 530-889-6506 or email@example.com.
If you can’t make it on a museums’ Heritage Trail day, you can visit them during their regular hours of operation and still get your Get-Up-And-Go cards stamped! All museums have free admission on their Heritage Trail day (see calendar below), admission fees might apply on other days. We will also have a Student Scavenger Hunt for all students grades K-12th.
The Trail Guide will be posted soon and inside you'll find more information on each participating museum, the Get-Up-and-Go Cards, and the scavenger hunt.
We look forward to seeing you on the trail!
