WINTER PARKING REGULATIONS
Parking is prohibited on roadway shoulders between November 1 and May 1.

ROAD MAINTENANCE

The Flood Control District collaborates with Placer County and its cities to protect lives and property from the effects of flooding.

FREE SANDBAGS FOR UNINCORPORATED AREAS
These sandbags are to be distributed, as available, for unincorporated area residents use only to protect their house and property, when the National Weather Service has forecast for severe flooding in Placer County, or as determined by the Placer County Office of Emergency Services. SNOW REMOVAL
Placer County provides snow removal on county roadways outside of incorporated cities and not on state highways.

RESOURCES TO DISPOSE OF LEAVES IN GREEN WASTE BINS
Placer County encourages residents that leaves should be disposed of in green waste bins, not swept into streets or gutters. ENCROACHMENT PERMIT
Minor work in and around county maintained roads requires an encroachment permit.
