Garbage Collection Rates
About Us
The Environmental Utilities Division administers and manages the county-wide solid waste and recycling programs in Unincorporated Placer County.
County-owned facilities include the Eastern Regional Materials Recovery Facility in the Tahoe area, transfer stations in Meadow Vista and Foresthill, and four closed landfills.
The Division also provides administrative support and management to the Western Placer Waste Management Authority which owns and operates the Western Regional Sanitary Landfill and Materials Recovery Facility in unincorporated Lincoln.
