Stationary Source Applications

To obtain an Authority to Construct or a Permit to Operate from the District for stationary or portable equipment, an application package must be completed and submitted to the District. The application package must include the following completed forms and information:

NEW:  Online permit applications are now available using the Placer County Permits Portal for the following source categories:

  • Internal Combustion Engines (Generators, Pumps, Compressors, etc.)
  • Gasoline Dispensing Operations (Retail and Non-Retail)

Any other equipment type, will need to be submitted by mail or in person using the application package below.

    • Boilers
    • Coating Operations

    • Graphic Arts Operations
    • Kilns
    • Process Heaters
    • Steam Generators
    • Vapor Recovery of Gasoline Dispensing Facilities
    • Vapor Vacuum Extraction
  • Check or bank draft in the amount of the filing fee

Fees

Additional fees, including an engineering analysis fee, apply and will be assessed at the time an Authority to Construct or Permit to Operate is issued. Please see the Filing Fees Checklist.
