If you live in the Meadow Vista area, reduce air pollution by using a free leaves and pine needles disposal program sponsored by the Placer County Facility Services-Solid Waste Management Division, the Placer County Air Pollution Control District, and Auburn Placer Disposal Service.
Don't burn your fall leaves and pine needles - take them to the Meadow Vista Transfer Station and dispose of them in the designated leaf/pine needle box at:
2950 Combie Road
Meadow Vista, CA 95722
All material will be taken to the Placer County Material Recovery Center to be composted. Placer County Residents/Property Owners only; proof may be required.
This program runs from Friday, October 15, 2021 to Monday, March 14, 2022. Transfer Station hours are Friday through Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed for lunch 11:30am - 12:00pm.
